A meet and greet at Downtown Pups is a required 5-hour trial visit to ensure your dog is a good fit for our daycare environment. During this time, we assess their temperament, play style, and comfort level in our facility while they enjoy supervised socialization and rest breaks.
Day Boarding

Day boarding at Downtown Pups provides a safe and comfortable environment for your dog to stay while you're away for the day. Unlike traditional daycare, day boarding offers a structured routine with individual rest periods in a cozy space, along with potty breaks and supervised socialization. It’s perfect for dogs who need a quieter setting, prefer human interaction over group play, or just need a place to relax while you’re at work or running errands.
Puppy Kindergarten Daycare & Training
Starting at $50/ day.
A 4-week program for puppies 10 weeks - 6 months to build confidence, social skills, and obedience through structured training and supervised play!

Basic Bark & Stay Boarding

At Downtown Pups, Our Basic Bark and Stay option features a heavy-duty kennel that's spacious and robust, perfectly accommodating dogs up to 200lbs. Your small or large furry friend will have plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable in their home away from home.
Comfort Suits Boarding
$75/ day
At Downtown Pups, we understand that every dog has its own unique needs and preferences. That's why we're proud to offer our Comfort Suites, designed to provide the ultimate in comfort and space for your beloved pets. Whether you have multiple dogs or one dog who loves to stretch and sprawl, our Comfort Suites are the perfect choice for a relaxed and luxurious stay.

Sensory Walk at the River
We are pleased to introduce our new River Walks service, now available as an optional enhancement to our daycare and boarding offerings. For a nominal fee of $8, your canine companion can partake in an enriching nature walk along the picturesque Hopewell Riverwalk.
Understanding the importance of olfactory stimulation in a dog's daily life, our River Walks are designed to engage your pet's senses and provide a wealth of enriching experiences. Sniffing is a critical means through which dogs gather and process information, allowing them to interpret the world around them.
Our carefully curated route takes us through downtown Hopewell, culminating in a visit to City Park. We will accommodate your dog's curiosity, allowing for ample "sniff stops" at locations they find intriguing. The journey also includes a walk on the pier, tailored to your pet's pace and interest.
In addition to the sensory enrichment, we seize the opportunity for a photo session against the scenic backdrop of the rocks, ensuring you have a beautiful memento of your dog's adventure.
